    CO-FOUNDERS

We are in the process of setting up a CIC (Community Interest Company) and will share progress on this as things take shape. A CIC works as follows:

A CIC is the legal structure for social enterprises. Unlike a commercial organisation work is in the interest of the community not for profit and the assets are locked inside the company. Unlike a charity a CIC is able to operate as an enterprise and doesn't need to have independent trustees. There is a special regulator for Community Interest Companies.
